Today I came across an article from Insider Travel titled “26 travel hacks that will help you get through the airport faster”. It was a great article on travel tips but some of the points were more suited to American’s travelling rather than us international people.
A question that everyone wants to know when travelling, especially if they haven’t travelled before is what is a good amount of transit time?
We joined our GAP Adventures Tour (now G Adventures) in Livingstone and the next day headed to the border crossing with Botswana. After crossing the river and the border we ended up in our overnight stop of Kasane, the gateway to Chobe National Park.

Recently on Instagram, I said that, “lately I always arrive in Christchurch during a disaster” of some sort. My most recent trip, just a couple of weeks ago when the Port Hills were ablaze or as one media outlet put it “Christchurch is engulfed in fire”. Not really but this isn’t a fake news post. I was in Christchurch to see how the city had rebuilt, 6 years after the earthquake that devastated the city.
